Christina Cooper

Tina Cooper has been passionate about the mission since its conception and is excited to join and support the team.

Having moved to Southern California from Scotland, Tina finally found community within a homeless ministry where Christ’s healing presence was made manifest in the humble and broken. As a part of a core team she helped establish a Coptic church and ministry in Long Beach, CA that was to be an inclusive community with a particular focus on those who are at risk and homeless. Realizing through this experience that the Orthodox Church needed to have dedicated servants who were able to commit themselves fully to serving the Church and community as a way of life and vocation rather than a Sunday service, she hopes that SupportMyService will grow to facilitate the abundance of gifts, talents, and callings present within our Orthodox community for the upliftment and enrichment of the Church.

Until recently, Tina served as a volunteer and intern coordinator with Project Mexico, an Orthodox homebuilding ministry and orphanage. She also recently completed a Masters of Theology in Pastoral Counseling from the Antiochian House of Studies.

Married to her husband Andy, she recently received the blessing of motherhood by the arrival of beautiful baby Theodore. She is currently finding her feet as a mama and navigating life without sleep in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Peter mansour

Peter Mansour is the co-founder of SupportMyService. He comes with a unique background that helps drive the mission and vision of the work we do as an organization.

After studying at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, he had the opportunity to serve in various lay positions in the Church as a consecrated servant. Peter has served as the Director for Youth & Young Adults at the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of New York & New England under HG Bishop David. Later, he went on to serve as the Pastoral Assistant of Sts. Barnabas & Susanna Coptic Orthodox Church in Baltimore, MD.

Because of his experiences, he feels a deep calling to help support others who wish to serve the Church but donā€™t have the resources or opportunities. He also feels a profound responsibility to help raise the standard of ministry in the Church by investing in education, innovation, and content creation.

He currently serves as the Ministry Coordinator forĀ Orthodox Christian Fellowship, an organization dedicated to Orthodox collegiate campus ministry across North America. He resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Sandra, where he volunteers as a Resident Minister at Georgetown University.

John Saad

John Saad is the co-founder of SupportMyService. He came up with the idea after seeing that there were many people offering their talents in various capacities to the Church, but that there was not much visibility, organization, or support to help encourage these people in their ministry.

Having an extensive background in technology, he sought to design a platform to fill this gap. By the grace of God and the support of the entire team, SupportMyService was born. He hopes that one day this organization can pay people to serve the Church full time.

John has a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in Computer Engineering and is currently finishing a Masters of Theological Studies from Agora University by writing his thesis. He works as a Cloud Architect and Automation Engineer and currently lives in Queens, New York with his wife, Veronia, and two daughters, Emmelia and Anastasia.
